Leticia’s Journey - Living Out the American Dream at PranaSleep

PranaSleep’s master seamstress, Leticia Sanchez, has quite the story to tell.

Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, her mother and grandmother taught her to sew when she was very young. After finishing school, Leticia decided that she wanted to make a difference in the world. Her dream was always to come to America, where she could feel free to think and live life on her own terms.

A perilous 6-week journey through 12 different countries eventually led her to a job working at PranaSleep. She has played an integral role in pushing us to use more sophisticated designs and constructions and has been invaluable overall in helping us make better mattresses through the combination of precision machining and the unbeatable quality of hand-sewn craft.
