PranaSleep mattresses have been wowing customers with enlightening sleep for over ten years now, and there’s a reason for this. We are not your ordinary mattress company. We make amazing beds for every sleep need in your home, from a Twin size for your child to a Queen in your guest room to even the King in your own master bedroom. But, is that it? Of course not! If you love PranaSleep, but have a bed need that is a little unique, we can still work with you to get your mattress perfect. Let’s look a little deeper at exactly what this means:

#1 You’re probably going to want to opt for foam. PranaSleep has several collections and products within the collections that are made from all Talalay Latex and foam comfort layers. This includes PranaSleep Vinyasa, , The Om Collection, and others. If you need a mattress cut to a very specific shape, like say to fit in your luxury motor coach, this is the way to go. The Karma Sky and Karma Moon hybrid mattresses may also work, but your unique situation will be the deciding factor.

The reason for this has to do with the coils used to build the other mattresses. Our coils are a specific diameter, so if you must take out a row or two, the width or length of your final mattress will be influenced by that. Foam, on the other hand, can be cut to a very specific need by our experts.

#2 You can completely customize the shape. Sometimes, the space for a mattress isn’t exactly a rectangle. You’re going to have a hard time finding the right fit on a showroom floor anywhere, but we can work with you to build the exact dimensions you need! This includes rounded and even irregular shapes. All we need to get started is for you to provide us with some type of drawing with the specific size, including the length and width plus if there are any odd angles, radius on the corners, or other unique characteristics. In the past, we have used engineering CAD drawings, a paper template of the exact shape, or anything that will give us the information the factory needs to get it cut correctly.

#3 It’s not only for uncommon shapes. You are unique, and your bed should fit your needs precisely! While most of the custom mattresses we craft are for yachts and high-end motor coaches, this is far from the only situation they are extremely helpful. We have also created beds to a specific size for very large or very small individuals, so their bed is perfect for them. Particularly tall people may feel cramped on even the largest showroom mattress and have us create a PranaSleep mattress that is much longer than average. As co-sleeping and family beds become more popular, we also do custom work for families who would like to continue to bond this way, while still sleeping comfortably.

In fact, the customization doesn’t need to be for the shape of the bed at all! Customization can also be done to create a mattress with a precise feel. You could ask for a soft shoulder, a customized core, or anything else you have in mind.

#4 It won’t take nearly as long as you may think! You would be forgiven for thinking a project of this magnitude will take a long time to come to fruition. Not so! In fact, many times we can have your mattress created and at your home, yacht, luxury motor coach, private plane, or anywhere else you want to sleep in about a week. Ideally, the most efficient way to get started would be if you have already been into a store that carries PranaSleep mattresses to select the bed that best suits your comfort. 

Please keep in mind, if we are shipping it out of state or to another country, we will probably need to allow a little extra time for transportation. Don’t worry though, we have dedicated Sleep Experts who do this kind of thing quite often and will do a great job communicating with you every step of the way.
